Mary Ruth Clemons, 65, Louisville, Kentucky and formerly of Albany, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Eddie Paul and Wilma Josephine Ferguson Cash. She was the owner/operator of the Clemons Green House and Nursery and a member of the Kosair Children’s Hospital Auxiliary where she was a volunteer in the gift shop.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas Clemons and a brother, James Gifford Cash.

She is survived by a son, Aaron Warren (Stephanie) Tallent; six sisters, Rita (Granville) Melton, Linda (Alton) Roberts, Norma Dicken, Lila Conner, Janice (Bill) Stearns, and Loretta (Danny) Cravens; two brothers, Kenneth Ray (Virginia) and Edward Cash; three step-children, Lori (Andy) Vance, Tom (Dixie) and Jim Clemons; also eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 5, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home with final resting place in Highland Memory Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to a charity of your choice. Arrangements were made through Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home of Louisville, Kentucky.
