Alice E. Bertram, 84, of New Castle, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 20, 2014 at the Heritage House in New Castle. She was the daugher of the late Chester and Cora (Abston) Ferguson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Basil Bertram.

Survivors include her daughters: Sharon (Gary) Bell of New Castle, Pat (David) Harry of Franklin, IN; son: Terry D. (Sandy York) Bertram of New Castle; her sister-in-law whom she raised as her daughter, Vicky (Paul) Davis of New Castle; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Audrey Duncan of Anderson, Agatha Zambos of Middletown, Carolyn Riley, Tyra, Gloria (Tom) Riddle and Pam Ferguson all of AZ; brother-in-law, Sammy (Lois) Bertram of Cookeville, TN; uncle, John Abston of New Castle; her nephews, Jamie, Corey, Blaine and Mat Ferguson all of AZ.

Services were held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverends Paul Davis and Larrel Boling officiating.
