Janice James New death pic.psd

Janice James New, 70, Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at her residence. She was of the Methodist faith and grew up attending Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She was the mother of Mark C. New, owner of Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany and Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville.

She is survived by three sons, Mark C. (Robin) New, Burkesville, KY; Edward Kent “Eddie” (Sarah) James and David Scott (Misty) New, all of Science Hill, KY; three sisters, Helen Dean and Lana Joyce Cassada, both of Somerset, KY; Judy Lynn (Ronnie) Vaught, Eubank, KY; also six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with final resing place in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Morris-Hislope Funeral Home of Science Hill and Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville. Online condolences may be made at www.norris-new.com.
