Ray Choate, 83, Albany, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Clinton County Hospital. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rachel Choate.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Choate; a son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Tessa Choate, all of Albany; four daughters and sons-in-law, Geri Bowlin and Janet and Dewayne Guthrie, all of Albany; Teresa Choate, Burkesville, KY; Rebecca and Jerry Halman, Akron, OH; a sister, Lucille Burris, Somerset, KY; a brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Joetta Choate, Monticello, KY; also seven grandchildren, Justin and Jacob Guthrie, Josh and Haley Choate, Nick Boils and Zach and Kennedy Halman.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Ragan and Bro. Roger Jones officiating. Final resting place in Davis Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
