Timmy Jay Harris, 44, Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at his family’s residence in Edmonton. He was the son of the late Ranson Paul and Mary Harris, and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Gene and Billy David Harris. He attended Grace Union Baptist Church.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Paul (Mary) Harris; Mary Ann (Norris) Smith; Phyllis Hulse; Carlie Harris; Tony (Melissa) Harris, all of Burkesville, KY; Bessie Slaughter, Albany; Patty (Tracy) Burden, Lexington, KY; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Shelley and Bro. David McCarty officiating. Final resting place in Christian Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville, Kentucky.
