In the spring of 2014, CCMS Principal Teresa Scott made a promise to the student body.

On Wednesday, December 17th, she made good on that promise.

Decked out in 80’s attire and sporting a Cindy-Lou-Who hairdo, Mrs. Scott perched herself on the roof of CCMS to read Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss to the students in the grade level that had the most gains on last year’s KPREP tests.

The grade level of students that got to enjoy this spectacle was last year’s 7th graders (this year’s 8th graders).

Congratulations to the students for their hard work and to Mrs. Scott for her dedication.
