Clinton County Grand Jury indicts four individuals on multi-count charges

The new Clinton County Grand Jury convened in regular session last Thursday, January 8 and returned multi-count indictments (some misdemeanors) against four different individuals in open Clinton Circuit Court.

The grand jury handed down the following true bills last week:

* Jonathan Stuber, age 26: The grand jury alleges that on or about August 19, the defendant committed the offenses of possession of a controlled substance second degree (Class A misdemeanor); possession of a controlled substance first degree (methamphetamine) (Class D felony); trafficking in a controlled substance first degree (Class C felony); possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor); and, possession of controlled substances not in original container (Class B misdemeanor.)

* Marsha A. Wright, age 43: The grand jury alleges that on or about September 29, the defendant committed the offenses of theft by unlawful taking or disposition, less than $10,000 (Class D felony); and, possession of marijuana, (Class B misdemeanor); tampering with physical evidence (Class D felony); promoting contraband first degree Class D felony); and, persistent felony offender first degree–three counts.

* William Perdue, age 43: The grand jury alleges that on or about June 8, the defendant committed the offenses of manufacturing methamphetamine (Class B felony) and, persistent felony offender second degree.

* Michael Ayers, age 33: The grand jury alleges that on or about October 3, the defendant committed the offenses of theft by failure to make required disposition over $10,000 (Class C felony) and, obscuring the identity of a machine or other property (Class C felony.)
