Matthew Wayne Chaplin, 43, Monticello, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 at Wayne County Hospital. He was the son of the late Bro. Bob Chaplin and was also preceded in death by a sister, Julie Viars.

He is survived by his mother, Eva Cooper Chaplin, Monticello, KY; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie Chaplin and Roger Hall, Monticello, KY; Sandra and Mark Upchurch, Stanford, KY; Rebecca and Rick Morrow; seven brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Marilyn Chaplin; Clay and Linda Chaplin; Paul and Martha Chaplin; Jimmy and Tammy Chaplin; Tommy and Jerrena Chaplin; Johnny and Jennifer Chaplin; Lonnie and Rachel Chaplin, all of Monticello, KY; also several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Ragan officiating. Final resting place in Davis Chapel Cemetery in Clinton County. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
