Four members of the Clinton County Community Foundation Advisory Board were on hand last week to meet with Kentucky State Senator Max Wise and AT&T Regional Director of External and Legislative Affairs Nancy Jarett, who presented the local foundation with a donation in the amount of $2,000. The Clinton County Community Foundation was formed last year as an effort to establish a means for Clinton County to have in place a way for people to “give back” to the community they call “home”, whether that be a past or present situation. Funds that are being raised by the local Foundation are channeled into an endowment type program in conjunction with the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky.

In making the recent donation Tuesday morning to the Clinton County Community Foundation, Jarett noted that “AT&T believes in supporting the communities we serve,” and made the donation through it’s Local Community Charity Program. Senator Wise became aware recently of this available fund from AT&T, and was successful in channeling the donation toward the Clinton County program.
