On November 17, 30 students from Albany Elementary School and eight students from Clinton County Middle School competed in the Noetic Learning Math Contest.

Noetic Learning Math Contest is a national elementary math problem solving contest held twice a year as many as 19,367 young mathletes representing 1,279 teams across the country participated in this year’s fall contest.

The following students received participation certificates:

First Grade: Addison Coop, Jed Groce, Kaeden Guffey, Warinner Guffey, Aubrie Messer, Maddox Moons, Zackary Poore, Addison Weston and Carol Zheng.

Second Grade: Kade Beaty, Corinne Beaty, Koger Guffey, Tatum Harlan, Cameron Irwin, Valarie Latham, Cambria Moses, Nickolas Poore, Charla Shelley, and Ella Rose Smith.

Third Grade: Tyler Guffey, Kendall Hay and Emily Pittman.

Fourth Grade: Samantha Criswell, Claire Guffey, Evan Little, Loren Little, Sadie Moons, Thomas Oesterreicher, Malachi Upchurch and Adam Whittenburg

Fifth Grade: Evan Claborn, Makenzie Cope, Dane Harlan, Adam Hay, Jimmy Mazariegos, Moriah Moons, Jordan Mullins and Tommy Ridge.
