One of the goals of the Clinton County Healthy Hometown Coalition has been put into motion this week with the start-up of the healthy snack offering at Albany Elementary School.

Students are now offered the option of enjoying fruit and vegetable snack offerings during daily snack breaks, from the newly constructed healthy snack corner known as “Bulldog Bistro”

The offering of healthy snacks is provided by the Healthy Hometown Coalition grant funds, at no cost to the students who choose to enjoy the free fruits and vegetables.
