Osceola Sloan, 92, New Castle, Indiana and a native of Albany, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 in New Castle. He was the son of the late John Marsh and Myrtle (Wilson) Sloan, a WWII veteran, and a 32nd degree Master Mason, member of New Castle Lodge #91 and a member of the First Baptist Church in New Castle.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lee (Koger) Sloan, New Castle, IN; a daughter, Dee Snider, Portsmouth, OH; four sons and daughters-in-law, John and Cara Sloan, Panama City Beach, FL; Robert and Janet Sloan, Washington, DC; Gary and Christie Sloan, Philadelphia, PA; and Tony and Tonya Sloan, Tampa, FL; also 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with final resting place in Central Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
