Johnnie Dallas Sheckles, 71, Albany, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee as the result of an automobile accident. He was the son of the late John R. and Flossie (Thrasher) Sheckles Cook and was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann DeLoach. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.

He is survived by three sons, Scott (Lue) Lovins, Greensburg, IN; William and Johnnie Sheckles, Jr., both of Taylorsville, IN; a daughter, Teresa Richards; a brother, Danny K. (Carole Lee) Sheckles, all of Edinburgh, IN; special friend, Kathy McClain, Albany; also several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Donald McGill officiating. Final resting place in Five Springs Cemetery.
