Ethel Mae York, 75, N Hwy. 127, Albany, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Buford and Edith Hickman and was also preceded in death by three children, William Lynn and Anthony Franklin York and Penney Renea Hurst; two sisters, Lois Faye McClain and Dorothy Free and three brothers, Marion, Urmel and Donald Hickman.

She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Teresa Holloway and Mona (Calvin) Walters, all of Knoxville, TN; a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Jamie York, Albany; also 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Elvin E. Dodson

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Jim England and Dr. Michael Cummings officiating. Final resting place in Cave Springs Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
