Albany Police Department has released its monthly activity report for April 2011.
During the month, 63 citations were issued involving 29 separate violations.
Citations in April were issued for the following: no insurance, eight; reckless driving and alcohol intoxication, six each; disorderly conduct-second degree, five; no operator’s license, disorderly conduct, DUI, and assault-fourth degree, three each.
There were two citations each for the following: operating on a suspended license; improper registration plates; DUI on suspended license; possession of open alcohol beverage in a motor vehicle; and public intoxication.
One citation each was issued for the following: permitting unlicensed operator to operate a motor vehicle; failure to use child restraint device; license not in possession; disregarding stop sign; resisting arrest; assault-third degree; careless driving; violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO; speeding; sexual abuse-first degree; tampering with physical evidence; possession of marijuana; theft by unlawful taking/burglary-second degree; improper start; criminal trespass; and menacing.
During the month of April, Albany PD also served four summons and four warrants.
