Homer Smith, 89, Albany, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at his residence. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Concord United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Roxie Craig and four brothers, Oplis, Arthur, Curt and Robbie Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Smith; a son, Gary Smith; three grandchildren, Crystal and Jamie Thurman; Lane Smith; and Adam and Beverly Smith; five great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Katie, Jamison, Payton and Jacob; special niece, Janet Shelton, along with several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Concord United Methodist Church with Bro. Greg Wells officiating. Final resting place in Concord Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
