Martial Arts class offered at Twin Lakes Family Wellness Center

Ricky Pickens will offer an Adult Martial Arts class Monday 4 p.m. and a youth Martial Arts class Wednesdays at 5 p.m.

Come stretch with TLFWC in our morning Yoga Class

Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 a.m.

School board regular meetings

Clinton County Board of Education will meet Thursday, March 12 at 4:30 p.m. for a work session and hold its regular business meeting Monday, March 16 at 5 p.m. Both meetings will be at the Central Office and are open to the public.

Fiscal Court regular meeting

Clinton County Fiscal Court will hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday, March 19 at 5 p.m. at the courthouse. The meeting is open to the general public.

Relay For Life meeting

The Clinton County Relay for Life will meet Tuesday, March 17 at 5 p.m. at the Early Childhood Center. All team captains and new teams are urged to attend. The Clinton County Relay For Life event will be held on Saturday, April 25.

Relay For Life 5K run/walk

A 5K run/walk to benefit Relay For Life will be held Saturday, April 11 at the Pickett K-8 in Byrdstown, Tennessee. Early registration $25 with t-shirt through March 27; $30 same day registration without t-shirt. Registration forms available at Byrdstown City Hall, People’s Bank and Subway. Send registration to Byrdstown City Hall, 109 W. Main St., Byrdstown, TN 38549.

Little League baseball meeting

There will be a Little League baseball meeting Monday, March 16 at 6 p.m. at Mountain View Park. Everyone who wants to volunteer, coach, help with concessions, etc. are encouraged to attend.

Masquerade jewelry and accessories sale

There will be a masquerade jewelry and accessories sale Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Clinton County Hospital dining room. The event is sponsored by the Clinton County Hospital Auxiliary. 22-2

Reality Town rescheduled

Clinton County Middle School Reality Town has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 18. Please arrive at the middle school by 7:45 a.m. If you have any questions, call 387-8575.

NWTF Hunting Heritage event

The 4th annual NWTF Hunting Heritage event, Tri-County Longbeards, Kentucky will be Friday, March 13. Doors open at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7:30 p.m. at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. You can get tickets at the door or contact us ahead of time, Jeff Branham at 688-2645 or Jeff Sams at 270-406-2932.

Little League sign-ups underway

Little League sign-ups will be held each Saturday during the month of March at IGA from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The last day to sign-up is March 28. Please bring a copy of the player’s birth certificate.
