Jesus said in John 15:12 “This is my commandment, that ye love one another as I have loved you.”

On Sunday, May 1st Jerry Duvall and his family were evacuated from their home in Jacksonville, AR due to floods. They weren’t allowed back in the area until May 5. They’ve lost all their belongings and both vehicles. They didn’t have any type of insurance that would cover flood damage. As you can imagine, their hope is really down at this time.

There are times when we’ve all felt hopeless, but God shows up, on time, when His people reach out to hurting people. Jerry was raised here in Albany, later moved to Columbia, KY and also served our country in the Iraq War. He is the son of Tammie York and Tim Duvall
