President/CEO of First & Farmers National Bank Steve Morgan presented Somerset Community College President and CEO Dr. Jo Marshall, left, and Cindy Clouse, Somerset Community College (SCC) director of advancement and executive director of the Somerset Community College Foundation, with a check for $10,000 on March 3, 2015.

This gift represents a total contribution of $80,000 to date by First & Farmers National Bank. The bank is committed to a total investment of $100,000 to the college. Because of First & Farmers National Bank’s commitment, the cafeteria located on the SCC Somerset Campus is officially named the First & Farmers National Bank Cafeteria.

“We are grateful for their generous gift to the college,” said SCC President and CEO Dr. Jo Marshall. “With their help, we can continue to transform our region’s economy by providing citizens with the education and training needed in today’s market.”

“First & Farmers National Bank is proud to contribute to Somerset Community College,” said Morgan. “Not only are we investing in the lives of SCC students, but we are ultimately investing in the future of our bank and the communities we serve. We have employed many SCC alumni throughout the years, and hope to continue to do so. We are thrilled with this partnership.”
