Clinton County Middle School Title I Night

and 4-H County Communications Competition

All middle school students and their families are invited to participate in the CCMS Title I Night on Tuesday, March 24th. Programs will begin at 4:30 p.m. The Clinton County 4-H Program will also host its County Communications Competition for all classroom speech and demonstration winners at Clinton County Middle School on March 24th.

Youth participating in the 4-H County Communications Competition will receive specific details regarding event registration and competition times. Please make plans to join us for this event. It will be a great night for school staff and families to connect and share in the success of our youth. For more information, contact CCMS at 387-6466 or the Extension Office at 387-5404.

Lions Club to meet

The next meeting for the Albany Lions Club is Thursday, March 19 at 6 p.m. at Lee’s Famous Recipe. All members and interested parties should attend.

Migrant Parent Advisory Council

Clinton County School’s Migrant Program will have a Parent Advisory Council meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Early Childhood Center. We will be discussing the service delivery plan for the Migrant Education Program. There will be hot dogs and refreshments with an Easter Egg hunt for the kids and a bundle opening following the meeting. All parents who have children enrolled in the Migrant Program please try to attend this meeting. For more information call 387-6272.

Recreation Park Board meeting

The Recreation Park Board will meet in regular session Thursday, March 26 at 6 p.m. at Mountain View Park. The meeting is open to the general public.

Martial Arts class offered at Twin Lakes Family Wellness Center

Ricky Pickens will offer an Adult Martial Arts class Monday 4 p.m. and a youth Martial Arts class Wednesdays at 5 p.m.

Come stretch with TLFWC in our morning Yoga Class

Fiscal Court regular meeting

Clinton County Fiscal Court will hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday, March 19 at 5 p.m. at the courthouse. The meeting is open to the general public.

Relay For Life 5K run/walk

A 5K run/walk to benefit Relay For Life will be held Saturday, April 11 at the Pickett K-8 in Byrdstown, Tennessee. Early registration $25 with t-shirt through March 27; $30 same day registration without t-shirt. Registration forms available at Byrdstown City Hall, People’s Bank and Subway. Masquerade jewelry and accessories sale

There will be a masquerade jewelry and accessories sale Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Clinton County Hospital dining room. The event is sponsored by the Clinton County Hospital Auxiliary. 22-2

Little League sign-ups underway

Little League sign-ups will be held each Saturday during the month of March at IGA from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The last day to sign-up is March 28. Please bring a copy of the player’s birth certificate.
