South Kentucky RECC recently received an award at the 2015 Midwest Residential Energy Conference in Lexington for having conducted the most Button-Ups in 2014.

Button-Up is a program offered by South Kentucky RECC in which members can receive an incentive for making their home more energy efficient by sealing the envelope of their home through improvements to windows, doors, or by adding insulation.

In the photo, accepting the award, from left to right, are SKRECC Energy Advisors Chuck Ball (McCreary and Wayne counties), Jeff Girdler (Pulaski County), Nora Wall (Pulaski County), David Withers (Russell and Clinton counties), and Member Services Manager Alan Coffey.

Hundreds of builders from Kentucky and other states attended the conference March 10-11 to learn the latest in building science technology and about energy efficiency for both new and existing homes. South Kentucky RECC was honored to host builders from its service territory.
