“Mikey G” Grunden

Michael Lee “Mikey G” Grunden, 18, Albany, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011 at his home. He was a native of Greensboro, North Carolina and a senior at Clinton County High School. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Effie Sue Redman, an uncle, William Redman, and an aunt, Glennie Redman.

He is survived by his foster father, Delbert Redman; his special mother, Tonya McGaw; a son, Landin Thomas Wayne Grunden; his fiancee, Amy Burchett, all of Albany; aunts and uncles, Johney Redman, TX; Pauline Redman, Monticello, KY; Letha (Bill) Martin, Smiths Grove, KY; Ricky (Sherri) Redman, Albany; Cindy (Cat) Johnson, Pall Mall, TN; brothers and sisters, Christopher (Tia) Redman, Liberty, KY; Christina Hale, Greensboro, N.C.; Wesley, Kristen and Stephen McGaw, all of Albany; Sami Crowder, Eden, N.C.; his grandfather, Thomas Redman.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 16, 2011 at Community Full Gospel Church with Bro. Bruce Stearns and Bro. Randy Shelton officiating. Final resting place in Old Bethel Cemetery in Wayne County. Arrangements made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany.
