South Kentucky RECC recently sent three teams to the Gaff-n-Go Lineman’s Rodeo, the biggest on the East coast, held in Ruther Glen, Virginia, to compete against more than 150 journeymen and apprentice linemen.

The SKRECC team, made up of Mike Ramsey, from the Pulaski County office, Adam Neal, from the Clinton County office, and Greg Hammond, from the Russell County office, placed third in the Digger/Derrick & Bucket Obstacle Course.

The SKRECC team, made up of Brad Coffey (McCreary County office), Byron Koontz (Pulaski County office), and David Hughes (Wayne County office) took sixth place in the event; the team of Barney Singleton, Mark Wilson, and Stephen DeBord (all from the Pulaski County office) took eighth in the event.
