An article in last week’s Clinton County News announced that the Healthy Hometown Coalition Committee and the Clinton County Recreation Park Board had jointly awarded a bid for new playground equipment to an Ohio firm for new playground facilities at the Mountain View Recreation Park.
That bid, in the amount of $74,449.00, was made through a joint effort of those two local entities, as well as several other local groups and individuals who had joined in the effort to upgrade the playground area at the park located just north of Albany on U.S. 127.
Healthy Hometown Coalition Chairperson Paula Little has furnished the Clinton County News with a rendering from the company that submitted the successful bid, David Williams and Associates, shown at left, depicting the look and layout that the equipment will have, once it has been installed.
Little told the Clinton County News in releasing the computer generated rendering of the new equipment, that she expected the new equipment to be delivered during the first two weeks of May, and installation, which will be supervised by representatives from the company supplying the equipment, to be completed in about two days following delivery.
