Clinton County pitcher Chelsea Sampson got under a pop fly during Friday’s game against Monroe County. The Lady Bat Dawgs won the game by a final of 7-0, and moved to 19-14 on the season. Clinton County will be back in action next week as the team heads to Cumberland County for the first round of the district tournament on Tuesday, May 24, against Russell County. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
