The tree was toppled Sunday night during a thunderstorm that moved through the area. Several large trees in this immediate area of Albany were broken or uprooted during the storm. Bowlin said that the previous renters on the property had just moved out last week and the house was vacant when the storm caused the damage. Clinton County dispatch also reported storm related damage on the Wisdom Dock Road, Haddix Road, Hwy. 1590 and the Holy Temple Church Road.
