Ruth Owens, 72, Allen St., Albany, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Clinton County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jimmy D. Owens, a member of Grace Fellowship Church and was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy L. Owens and three brothers, Andrew, L.V. and James Lee Butler.

She is survived by four sons, Lonnie, Earnest and Rex Owens, all of Albany; Verlan Owens, Somerset, KY; other son, Jeff Jones; three sisters, Janet Mercer and Maxine Conner, both of Albany; Ina Hicks, Monticello, KY; a brother, Howard Butler, Albany; five grandchildren, Nicole Phillips; Brandon, Renee, Angela and Jackson Owens; also four step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Grace Fellowship Church with Bro. Donnie Shelley and Bro. David Stewart officiating. Final resting place in Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
