William Ronald Marcum, 74, Pickett County Care and Rehabilitation in Byrdstown, Tennessee and formerly of Albany, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Byrdstown Medical Center. He was the son of the late Roy and Sarah Adeline “Addie” (Guffey) Marcum and was also preceded in death by a brother, Russell Marcum.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Mae (Pierce) Marcum; a daughter, Margretta (Gene) Glidewell, Albany; four brothers, Donald (Dorothy) Marcum, Ralph (Alice) Marcum, Gerald (Lee Oma) Marcum, David (Kathleen) Marcum; a sister, Phyllis Shelton, all of Alpha , KY; four grandchildren, April (Josh) Cowan, Marcus (Jennifer) Glidewell, Ashley (Ronnie) Hummel, and Emily Glidewell; also four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Stearns officiating. Final resting place in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany. Online condolences may be made at www.campbell-new.com.
