Glen Elwood Shelton, 73, Sheltontown Rd., Albany, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at his residence. He was the son of the late Fred and Pearl Shelton and was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wesley, Alvin and Everett Shelton and a great-grandchild, Jaden Hancock.
He is survived by six daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Mark Schwenke; Donna and Mickey Riddle; Kay and Duane Rogers, all of Albany; Shelia Acrey, Janie Beth and Brian Stonecipher, all of Monticello, KY; Tammy and John Cowan, Byrdstown, TN; four brothers, Freddie Shelton, Monticello, KY; Luther, Welby and Daryl Shelton, all of Albany; also 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Jim England and Bro. Bob Sawyer officiating. Final resting place in Shelton Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
