Kindergarten classes enjoy annual running of the Little Kentucky Derby

All the kindergarten classes were ready for their day to participate in the Little Kentucky Derby Friday. The event is always held on the Friday before the Kentucky Derby is held at Churchhill Downs in Louisville, KY, on Saturday.

One class took off fast out of the gate as several students were racing toward the finish line Friday at the Early Childhood Center. The event has been taking place for several years and is always a fun time for the students and parents who attend.
