Savanah Stevens to represent Kentucky at the USA National Miss Scholarship Pageant

This summer, Savanah Stevens, who is a student at Boyle County High School, will compete for the national title of USA National Miss Teen, as well as thousands of dollars in college scholarship money.

She is the granddaughter of Billy and Jean Boswell of Wolf River Resort in Albany.

Savanah, who is the reigning USA National Miss Ky. Teen, will travel to Walt Disney World July 27-August 1, for the pageant. Savanah is currently a senior at Boyle County High School where she will graduate May 29, 2015. She will be attending the University of Kentucky in the fall where she will major in Communications and Broadcasting.

Savanah was on the BCHS Lady Rebels soccer team for four years. She was Jr. Vice President of FCCLA, member of DECA Club, Pep Club, Beta Club, National Honor Society, four year recipient of the KHSAA award for maintaining above a 3.5 GPA during the sports season, and she also played Club Soccer.

Savanah works full time during the summer and part time during school for Travel Leaders of Danville as well as job shadowing internship with Larry Vaught of the Danville Advocate. Savanah will be working on the UK newspaper team during her freshman year at UK.
