Drug roundup nets a host of offenders and charges filed

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Albany Police Department, conducted a round-up last week of 10 sealed indictments that resulted in the apprehension and arrests of 10 people in relation to drug charges.

In the above photo, Anna Armstrong, left, was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree as well as trafficking in a controlled substance in the third degree. Also in the photo, Sheriff Jim Guffey and Deputy Ashley Mason arrested and charged Wesley S. Stewart with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree and trafficking in a controlled substance in the third degree.

Also with arrest warrants served was Amanda J. Madison with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree; Irvin W. Jones, trafficking in a controlled substances in the first degree; Cathy S. Duvall, trafficking in a controlled substance in the second and third degree; Rodney Duvall, trafficking in a controlled substance in the second and third degree; Roger Daley, trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree; Howard Woodson, trafficking in a controlled substance in the second degree; Bennie Smith, trafficking in a controlled substance in the second degree and Brittany Wray, trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree.

The above names were served with indictments and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
