Adult Summer Reading Program

Posted June 3, 2015 at 7:56 pm

Summer reading is not just for kids anymore! Get the whole family involved and remember if you get caught reading you’ll be a great role model for the kids! Want to participate? Here’s how:

1. Sign-up. Adults will need to register at the Clinton County Public Library service desk or through the Bookmobile during the first two weeks of June. (No late registrations will be accepted).

2. Over the summer keep a log (provided during registration) of the books you have read during the program months.

3. If you read at least five books during the program and return your completed log to the library by July 31, you will be eligible for prizes from the Adult Summer Reading Program raffle to be held August 1 at 9 a.m.

* Participants must be 18 or older and have a Clinton County Public Library card in good standing to be eligible for prizes. Prizes will be raffled during an Awards Breakfast event August 1. Participants must be present to win prizes.

* All participants will receive a participation gift upon completion as well as the opportunity to attend an Adult Summer Reading Program Raffle with a light breakfast on August 1 at 9 a.m.

* Program began June 1 and will conclude July 31. Please be sure forms are turned in by July 31 for further details or updates on our prize/raffle awards breakfast.
