Pastor Tommy Hensley, Sr., 72, Greenfield, Indiana, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Greenfield. He was a native of North Carolina, son of the late Clinton Hensley and Grace (Hensley) McCurry. He pastored churches in North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky and Indiana for 48 years.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Hensley, Greenfield, IN; three sons, Tommy W. (Mary) Hensley, Jr., Ronald L. Hensley, both of Indianapolis, IN; Calvin (Earlisa) Hensley, Greenfield, IN; a step-daughter, Maxine (Mackie) Shelton, Barnardsville, NC; step-son, Max Edward (Jean) Shuford, Jr., Weaverville, NC; mother, Grace (Hensley) McCurry, Burnsville, NC; four brothers, Clifton, Jeffrey, Larry and Timothy; four sisters, Vivian, Louise, Anna and Daphney; also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Victory Independent Baptist Church in Greenfield with final resting place in Park Cemetery.
