Michael Lynn Tweedy, 54, Liberty Lane, Albany, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 as the result of a drowning accident on Dale Hollow Lake in Pickett County, Tennessee. He was the son of the late James Thomas and Oseline Mills Tweedy and was also preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Lee Tweedy and a brother, James R. Tweedy.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Tweedy, Albany; a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Chris Stradtman, Monticello, KY; a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Jennifer Tweedy, Albany; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Donald Bowlin; Shina and Carlos Abbott and Janice and Leon Moreland; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ted and Sherl Tweedy; Danny and Ada Tweedy, all of Albany; three grandchildren, Jasmine and Coban Tweedy and Easton Brown; two step-grandchildren, Kaleigh Swift and Zayiden Stradtman; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Shelley and Bro. Jeff Brown officiating. Final resting place in Cave Springs Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
