Berea College junior and Clinton County High School alumni Leah Claborn has been accepted to the University of Louisville’s Summer Medical and Dental Experience Program (SMDEP). This is a free six-week program that offers academic and career experiences that will support dental and medical school career preparation. SMDEP accepts only 80 college students across the nation and strives to reflect the inclusion of students representing a wide range of economic, cultural, and geographic diversity.
