Delmer A. Hurst, 68, Albany, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Sommerwoods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Arnold and Dorothy McGill Hurst and was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by three sisters, Wanda Bowlin, Muncie, IN; Joan Carel and Brenda Riddle, both of Albany; three brothers, Bill Hurst, London, KY; Wayne Hurst, New Castle, IN; Tony Hurst, Indianapolis, IN; also several children.

A memorial service was held Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Highway Church of the Nazarene with Bro. Bobby Grant and Bro. Sam Booher officiating. Final resting place in Five Springs Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
