Barbara Sue (Piercey) Whittenburg, age 75, of Smyrna, Tennessee and formerly of Albany, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015, in Smyrna, Tennessee.

She was the daughter of the late Robert and Rosie Lee (Taylor) Piercey, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Kendall Whittenburg, and a son, Mitchell Whittenbueg. She is survived by a Son, Mike (Tina) Whittenburg of Smyrna, Tennessee, a daughter, Nanarose (Whittenburg) Melby of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, two sisters, Georgie Armstrong and Peggy (Ralph) Lee, a brother, Donald (Wanda) Piercey all of Albany, seven grandchildren, Tommi Jo Whittenburg, Tori Ligrain, Prent Whittenburg, Weston Whittenburg, Kendall Ray Whittenburg, Brandon Melby and Katie Melby, and one great-granddaughter, Kenadee Ryan Kling.

Funeral Services for Barbara Sue (Piercey) Whittenburg, were held Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor David Stearns officiating.
