Ruth Upchurch Thrasher, 88, Albany, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at Clinton County Hospital. She was the wife of the late John Kenneth Thrasher and member of Peolia United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Butch Upchurch, and a sister, Bonnie Parrigin.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Larry K. and Shelia Thrasher; a sister, Arrisia Looper, all of Albany; a granddaughter, Deana Thrasher and husband Marlon Madison, Richmond, KY; also three nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
