Nurse Patricia Pearson visited the Albany Cub Scouts Pack 387 pack meeting on Monday, July 6th to discuss emergencies and first aid. The scouts learned what first aid is and what to do after an accident, including staying calm and calling for help. The scouts also practiced responses to such situations as serious bleeding, stopped breathing, and choking. Thank you so much to Ms. Pearson for investing time in our scouts and helping them to fulfill the achievements for their ranks!
