Nancy Brewington, 69, Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at Cumberland County Hospital. She was the present Cumberland County Circuit Clerk and served as a deputy clerk for 20 years before becoming clerk in 2010. She was a member of Twin Lakes Grace Fellowship Church of Albany, was the daughter of the late Melvin and Velma Smith Shelley and was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Millard Reid Brewington; two daughters, Tracy (B.J.) Daniels and Kami Vincent, all of Burkesville, KY; four brothers, Harold (Bonnie) Maxey, Hilton Head, S.C.; Darwin (Judy) Shelley, Byrdstown, TN; Donnie (Wyncie) and Johnny (Shirley) Shelley, all of Albany; three sisters, Susan Imogene (Jack) Jones, Kankakee, IL; Joann McCoy, Piper City, IL; Phyllis Tschetter, Albany; two sisters-in-law, Patricia and Judy Shelley, both of Albany; three grandchildren, David Seth Norris, Cambria Raine Vincent and Nicholas Reid Davis; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 24, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Shelley and Hon. Steve Hurt officiating. Final resting place in Dodson Cemetery.
