The Clinton County Retired Teachers will meet Tuesday, August 18 at 1 p.m. at Lee’s Famous Recipe.

Industrial Authority to meet

The Clinton County Industrial Development Authority will hold its regular meeting Thursday, August 13 at 11 a.m. at the IDA-Welcome Center. The meeting is open to the general public.

CCHS Class of ‘60 plans reunion

The Clinton County High School Class of 1960 have some special events planned for the 55th class reunion Labor Day Weekend! The night gathering will be Friday, September 4 at 7 p.m. at the home of Laura Ann Lowhorn, 381 Cave Springs Rd., Albany. Our regular class reunion will be Saturday, September 5 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the South Kentucky RECC Building in Albany. Local girls are encouraged to bring finger foods. No invitations will be sent so we encourage family members and friends to remind class members of these fun events! Crusin’ on the Square August 15

The 6th annual Crusin’ on the Square will be held Saturday, August 15. Come cruise with us on the Courthouse Square in Albany, Kentucky from 4-8 p.m. Registration begins at 4 p.m. The first 100 registered drivers get a free t-shirt. Hunters BBQ will be cooking some great BBQ, plus there will be door prizes, 50/50 drawing and lots of gorgeous cars, trucks and bikes on display.

CCMS Site Based schedule

Clinton County Middle School’s SBDM Council will meet in the conference room on the first Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m. with the exceptions of September and April due to Labor Day and spring break. The schedule of the monthly meetings is as follows: September 1; October 5; November 2; December 7; January 4; February 1; March 7; April 11; May 2; June 6.

Class of 1975 reunion

The CCHS Class of 1975 will have it’s 40 year reunion on Saturday, September 5, at the Clinton County Fairgrounds, starting at 6 p.m.

This gathering is intended to be for all those who started out with the class in 1963, but did not finish and those who perhaps only were with us for a short, but memorable time.

Cost is $25 per person. Classmate Rick Wallace will be on the grill, so the price is a bargain. Please try and get your money in by August 20 if possible. CAIP cost share

informational meeting

The Clinton County Farm Bureau Federation has been approved to administer the County Agriculture Investment Program (CAIP) for 2015.

Producers interested in signing up for the program can pick up an application at the Clinton County Farm Bureau Office or the Clinton County Extension Office.

Applications will be available from Thursday, July 30 – Friday August 14. Completed applications must be returned to the Farm Bureau office by 4:30 p.m. (CST) on Friday, August 14.

There will be an informational meeting held on Thursday July 30, at 6:00 p.m. at the Clinton County Fairgrounds, program overview and changes will be discussed.
