Mrs. Thelma (Watkins) Mercer, age 93, of Clinton Care and Rehabilitation in Albany, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015, at the Clinton County Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Bill and Myrtie (Riddle) Watkins and was also preceded in death by her husband George Jefferson Mercer and three sons, G.A. Mercer, Dale Mercer, and Roger Mercer, along with several brothers and sisters. She is survived by two sons, Jesse (and Wanda) Mercer, of Albany, Kentucky, and Floyd (Kathie) Mercer of Monticello, Kentucky three daughters-in- law, Ina Mercer, Freda Mercer, and Marie Mercer; thirteen grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.

Funeral services for Thelma (Watkins) Mercer, were conducted, Wednesday, August 19, 2015, in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home, with Reverend, Rick Catron officiating. Burial followed in the Five Springs Cemetery. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was in charge of Arrangements.
