Wendell Ray Ferrell, 62, Albany, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at his residence. He was the son of the late Sam Rubin and Opal (Covey) Ferrell.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann (Daley) Ferrell; three step-daughters, Beverly Ann (Jeremy) VanWinkle, Virginia Sue Ferrell (Dwight Guffey); Brenda Renea (Adam) Garrett; a step-son, Ricky Dewayne (Sheyanne) Phillips; four brothers, Willie Kay, Lester, Ronnie Gene and Jerry Len Ferell; a sister, Ginnie Faye Braswell, all of Albany; a sister-in-law, Sue (Gary) Sumner, Pine Knot, KY; eight step-grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Ashton, Kayson and Skylar Phillips, Teresa Kaye Catron, Ricki Renea Ferrell and Destiny Rae VanWinkle; one step-great-grandchild, Clarabella Patience Phillips; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 24, 2015 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Melvin Daniel and Pastor Donnie Shelley officiating. Final resting place in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
