Recent winter conditions have forced residents to use a variety of methods to remove snow from area sidewalks, and there was plenty of snow removal Monday morning for the start of a new week in Albany. Above photo, Johnny Earl Norris used a garden tractor and blade to remove snow from Albany sidewalks.

Clinton County Maintenence employee Jim Polston, above, used salt to melt away the snow and ice on the courthouse walks.

Below, Freddie Burchett also found the sweeping motion most effective in removing snow from the sidewalk near his Market Wise Realty office on Washington Street.
