William Edward Cornell, Sr., 72, Albany, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Cookeville Regional Hospital in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Cornell, Albany, and a son, William E. Cornell, II, of Ohio.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Lee’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Talbott Funeral Home of Albany is in charge of arrangements.
