Albany Police Department has released its activity report for the month of August, 2015. During the month, the department issued 27 citations involving 20 violations and served two warrants.

The most citations issued were two each for the following: possession of a controlled substance first degree; disorderly conduct; possession of drug paraphernalia; no insurance; DUI; hindering prosecution; and public intoxication.

One citation each was issued for the following: criminal mischief third degree; tampering with physical evidence; leaving the scene of an accident; resisting arrest; expired tags; violation of a Kentucky EPO; fleeing or evading police second degree; failure to produce insurance card; possession of an open alcohol container in a vehicle; menacing; terroristic threatening; assault second degree (police officer); and failure to maintain registration.
