Jimmie A. (Tallent) Sloan, 84, Albany, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at her residence in Clinton County. She was the daughter of the late Jim Hurt and Minnie Lee (Perdue) Tallent; wife of the late Ned T. Sloan; and was also preceded in death by a sister, Zenoba Dicken; three brothers, Hurlton, Jason and Ted Tallent; and a grandson, Nicholas Ross Talbott.

She is survived by a son, Ned Jr. (Denise) Sloan, Albany; two daughters, Vivian (Greg) Talbott, Albany; Vittoria Lee (Larry) Crosbie, Bowling Green, KY; three sisters, Treva Mann, Russell Springs, KY; Xeina Sawyers, Bowling Green, KY; Laura Ann Lowhorn, Albany; six grandchildren, Isaac (Yoko), Adamie and Zachary Adamie, India, Blake and Amos Talbott; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Cave Springs Baptist Church with pastors Jason Brogan and Harvey Dicken officiating. Final resting place in Cave Springs Cemetery.
