Lilly Rains Tweedy, 56, Albany, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 at her residence. She was a member of Gospel Baptist Church, wife of the late James R. Tweedy, daughter of the late Howard and Ollie Rains and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Judy and Donna Rains and two brothers, Phillip and Johnny Rains.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Greg York, Albany; a son and daughter-in-law, James P. and Whitney Tweedy, Monticello, KY; three sisters, Linda Sue Smith, Ida Mae Myers and Patrician Parrigin; three brothers, Randell, Dexter and Tex Rains, all of Albany; four grandchildren, Gage, Jasmine and Nevaeh Brumley and Katie York; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Sam Booher and Bro. Ronnie Brumley officiating. Final resting place in Cave Springs Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
