Garland E. Scott, 85, Anderson, Indiana and a native of Lillydale, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Raymon and Ida (Stanford) Scott and was also preceded in death by four brothers, Edward M., James M., Willie M. and Cline Estle Scott, a sister, Melba Speck and a grandson, Dustin L. Scott. He attended Eastside Church of God and also was a Kentucky Colonel.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Jean Scott, Anderson, IN; three sons, Steven Scott, Anderson, IN; Bob (Lynn) Scott, Alexandria, IN; and Larry Scott, Greenfield, IN; a brother, Sid (Ramona) Scott, a sister-in-law, Ann Scott, all of Albany; four grandchildren, Kelli Drake, Jamey Knight and Jonathon and Steven Scott; also six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service and Crematory with final resting place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.brownbutzdiedring.com.
